Depending on the purpose, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance of (pre-)contractual obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in a secure and functional web presence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Some of the service providers named below are based in the USA. Where data is transferred to third countries, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards (including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or, where available, a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA (“Vercel”). When you access the website, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, referrer, browser/device identifier) in order to deliver the page and to ensure its security and stability.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, efficient provision of the website). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel. The transfer of data to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This data is not merged with other data sources and is used solely for technical operation and security. It is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of collection.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

To statistically evaluate the use of our website, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics software. Umami works without cookies — it therefore sets no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device. No cross-device profiles are created and no data is sold for advertising purposes. IP addresses are not stored in plain text but are processed only to determine anonymous statistics (e.g. page views, approximate origin, referrer).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a needs-based design of the website). As no cookies are set and no information is accessed on your end device, no consent is required.

The background video in the header area of our website is served from our own server (self-hosted); no data is transferred to third parties in the process.

Individual show videos are embedded via YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com; Google Ireland Ltd. or Google LLC, USA). These are not loaded automatically. Only when you actively start a video by clicking is a connection to YouTube’s servers established, during which, among other things, your IP address is transmitted. Before your click, no data is sent to YouTube.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by starting the video. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

If you contact us via the enquiry form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, occasion/ preferred date and your message) in order to process and respond to your enquiry.

Form messages are technically sent to us via the e-mail service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). In doing so, Resend processes the content submitted in the form as a processor solely for the purpose of delivery. The transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling of enquiries) and, where granted, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose of processing ceases to apply. In the event of a legitimate request for erasure or withdrawal of consent, the data will be deleted unless there are legally permissible grounds for retaining it.
